The Columbia County Contra is held at Mettabee Farm, 551 Harlemville Rd, Hillsdale NY.

This lovely hall is about 15 minutes from our previous Chatham location and offers many benefits including a great wooden dance floor, improved air circulation, warm ambiance, and a beautiful setting. There's a parking area that is maintained in winter and a generous gathering space for visiting and snack.

The venue has requested that people dance in soft soled dance shoes, socks, or bare feet to preserve their wooden floor.  

The farm has a no cell phone policy. Cell phones can be used in times of necessity/ emergency, but please be discrete. We would like to support their efforts to maintain a phone free environment during dances.

Please refrain from running in the dance hall.

Bring a friend or come alone, no partners necessary. Hope to see you there!
